This is coming from an ignoramus on such matters, but is there a way to make the anagram game team oriented? So you could have team A versus team b, maybe there could be a time limit or not, but whoever can get the most words. Or another angle that could be worked is that once a word is used by the first group it can not be counted by the other team if they came up with it a little while after the first team got it.
